Three days out of the week have been set apart for surgeries; however, arrangements can be made on other days depending on the needs and preferences of other practitioners.

The Dental unit operates every weekday for consultation and procedures. This is a walk-in clinic as well as by appointment.  

Obstetric and surgical management is carried out every weekday, and on Saturdays, by five (5) OB/GYN specialists attached to the centre.

This clinic is run thrice on a weekly basis and it has a sophisticated laboratory where velocities and prostate ultrasound studies can be done.

The dermatology clinic runs once a week, on Fridays and addresses all manner of skin disease.

The Centre has a physiotherapy department that has up-to-date equipment and runs a clinic three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

A paediatrician is available for consultation every weekday, and on Saturdays, whilst surgeries are carried out on Tuesdays.

Every Tuesday there is a dietician available for consultation on all diet needs.

Either of our orthopaedic surgeons may be seen on Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays.

There is an eye specialist available twice a week, on Mondays and Tuesdays; however, treatment can be arranged in emergency cases.

Internal Medicine
There are consultations on this specialty four times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
Two ENT specialists are available twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for consultation and may carry out surgery as and when needed.

There is a Cardiology Clinic on Tuesdays. 

Consultations with the neuro-surgeon is once a week every Wednesday

Family Planning Services
The maternity unit of Nyaho Medical Centre operates a full-services pre-natal, post-natal & maternity health clinic with focus on providing advisory and guidance services for mothers. The centre also provides health screening and advises patients on choice of contraceptives.

Child Welfare Clinic
To compliment the Family Planning Clinic, Nyaho Medical Centre also has a Child Welfare Clinic, which is in operation every Thursday (8am - 12pm) by Public Health Nurses with the aim of providing care for infants and nursing mothers.

Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT)
Due to the intensified effort to expand access to anti retroviral therapy (ART), it has become even more important to provide HIV counseling and testing (CT) services.

As a full service Medical Centre, Nyaho has trained counselors on site to provide a highly confidential pre and post-test counseling service. The VCT unit is accessible from 8am to 7pm each day. Individual as well as group counseling can be arranged.
